  RAWMAT® HDB TYPE S Material
     

Type S materials are a factory prehydrated sodium bentonite membrane for the waterproofing of below ground structures where an oversite blinding has been specified.

TYPE S1 Structural - one metre rolls
The RAWMAT® HDB TYPE S1 material consists of a UV-stabilised woven geotextile layer, a factory pre-hydrated natural sodium bentonite central core and a non-woven perforated scrim layer. The scrim allows intimate contact between the bentonite core and the concrete to which it is applied. Supplied in a one metre roll

  TYPE S2 Structural - two metre rolls
Supplied in a 2 metre roll which requires lifting equipment but provides large coverage and reduced overlaps.

  RAWMAT® HDB TYPE P1 Material - One metre rolls
Suited for small ponds. One metre rolls allow easy handling and installation.RAWMAT® HDB Type P1 is laid with the woven geotextile in contact with the prepared substrate and the non-woven geotextile uppermost. Due to its active nature, overlaps self-seal and minor puncture wounds self-seal.

Nailing Type P1 to excavation as Back shutter for Lift Pit.   Drilling Type P1 to fix to Secant Pile wall with plugs.   Laying Type P1 onto Cordeck.  
TYPE P1 Landscaping
Type P1 Landscaping is used for the lining of small ponds and lagoons where the use of heavy machinary is impractical. 1 metre rolls allow easy handling and installation.

TYPE P1 Environmental
An effective barrier used to prevent the seepage of any cooling oil into the ground below, used in conjunction with sand identification and stone fill layers. 1 metre rolls allow easy handling and installation.

Rawmat Type SF material provides additional protection to the clay core in the Structural Waterproofing sector, where fluctuating water tables may be present.
SF1 - One metre rolls allow easy handling and installation.
SF2 - Two metre rolls require lifting equipment but give large coverage and reduced overlaps.

  RAWMAT® Slabseal 2 Material  

Slabseal consists of a non-woven perforated scrim layer, a factory pre-hydrated natural sodium bentonite central core and a thin polyethylene layer. The scrim allows intimate contact between the bentonite core and the concrete to which it is applied, the polyethylene layer prevents ingress of water to the bentonite central core and provides a dual sealing layer, in the Structural Waterproofing sector.

  RAWPASTE Mastic  
 
Rawpaste Mastic is non-toxic and chemically inert, it has the same composition as the Rawmat® HDB membrane and the Rawseal® waterstops, however it contains additional polymerised liquid to create a trowellable grade of mastic which can be applied to seal cuts and penetrations in the membrane and as a bedding mastic for waterstops. Rawpaste mastic is available in 20kg buckets.
